World Chicken in Gateway Cubao

One of the places I love visiting in Manila is Gateway. This mall is located in Cubao near the Araneta Center. Within this area are 3 other shopping malls namely AliMall, SM Cubao and Farmer's.

Today, the three of us went out to seek a manga shop my niece wanted to visit. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find the it. However, we did spend more than 5 hours roaming around the different malls with a snack break and a lunch break in between.

World Chicken is one of our favorite places to eat in. They have different combos consisting of filleted chicken breast and either one or two sidings (137 php for one siding and 169 php for two).

Ordering is as easy as step 1-2-3.  Beverages are not included in the pricing I mentioned above.
After finding a seat near the tall glass windows, we took a minute to relish on our order... well, we were actually waiting for one of our companions while stealing a bite or two from the plate. We'd been pretty hungry... and impatient.

One thing's for sure, when you're in Manila, the cost of living is definitely higher compared to Philippine provinces. On the other hand, there are so many things to do that people have different choices to pick from when deciding what to do on a Sunday.

Manila Arrival in Ninoy Aquino International Airport

As I've said on my previous post, we traveled from Iloilo to Manila within a span of 55 minutes and are now disembarking the plane, making our way from Philippine Airlines Airbus 320 towards Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

I'm not much of a narrator but I've taken proper documentation in the form of images. Two of which I am sharing.

Philippine Airlines Flight PR140 Iloilo to Manila arrival in the early morning. Surprisingly early and not late!

It's just nice to have a view of the sun rising from the east. Just about crossing the bridge connecting to Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Blogger, why are you so slow?

I've been having issues in the past with Blogger but never having to wonder it's loading so slowly.

I've been trying hard to forego replying to some comments because of the slow loading time last night and the night before, but you can't just expect me to wait forever.

These are my two assumptions why Blogger is being slow on my end.

One is probably I am using an ISP that doesn't like Blogger as Youtube is pretty fast.

And two, is because Blogger has so many posts to cater to that bandwidth allocation is scarce.

Iloilo International Airport 2012

So this would be my 1st time visiting my sister this year and I couldn't help but take some pictures of the airport again. Our flight schedule was 6:40 AM in the morning and the temptation to grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee was strong. Of course, my personal preference has always been Coffeebreak's Choco Oreo Frappe ever since it has opened.

Nothing much has changed except for the wide LCD TVs where the male species are able to enjoy good old fashion basketball airing on cable.

It's pretty obvious why I had not taken the shot towards the direction of the TV, there were men gathering around it watching NBA.

Would you stop buying something if you knew the manufacturer was a devil worshiper?

Last night I had a talk with my partner's mom about life in general.

We came to discuss about her dishwashing soap. I recommended a dishwashing soap that belonged to Procter and Gamble. And since she was a very God fearing and God loving person, she's a strong advocate of not using their product because Procter and Gamble had mentioned in an interview that he was a devil worshipper. And if I buy their products, I am infact promoting their mission.

So I told her, this may be the case of the person who talked during the interview, but not on the newer generations that's running the company. She says that it is still promoting devil worship because that were the mission of the company.

So my question would be, if you work for Procter and Gamble, should you be judged as someone promoting their mission? I am applying the same question for people buying and using their products.

By the way as for the interview I was mentioning about, I still have no proof that it exists. Nor have I seen any news clippings of it.

I Got a New Haircut

I know its probably boring to talk about my life but I just got myself a new haircut.

Although it's no big deal, I just want to say I hit the jackpot. The person who cut my hair was an expert and he got my dream cut- down to the layering.

The name of the guy who cut my hair was Camille. It's so hard to find a good hairstylist nowadays so I am thankful I finally found one.

So for those who are still looking for that perfect stylist, here's my two cents. Don't settle for something that you think isn't worth what you paid for. Take the risk and look for a new one.
