Our Enchanted Kingdom Adventure at Laguna, Philippines

Enchanted Kingdom is one of the best sites to visit for entertainment purposes in the Philippines. Like any other theme park, our day was filled with multiple rides, a lot of laughter, enticing prizes from addictive fair games and more.

The Regular Day Pass cost 500 Php. We were also lucky to have availed the 4+1 package which required the Mercury Suki Card.
Why was food not mentioned? Simply because we only went to Ice Monster and had cups of ice cream and shaved ice desserts for lunch.

Who would've thought we'd spend more than 1000+ Php on all those games. I badly wanted the big prize but alas, we had no whatsoever talent in winning them... except for my brother-in-law, that is.

Multiple games with prizes big and small are distributed throughout the park. They're pretty tempting to play. Some of the difficult ones have bigger prizes. At approximately 50 Php, one can get the chance to play ring tosses, ball pitches and even rope ladder climbing to take home the "XL" prize.

Call me, Chicken! But I'll take a rain check on this one.
The Enchanted Kingdom experience is never complete without the Space Shuttle. Of course, I wasn't the type who'd demand to ride it all, so I left this one for the kids to savor.

Still I'd be damned if I'd miss out on the Rio Grande Rapids. My niece was one of the unfortunate ones who came out extremely wet from wave after wave, some of which went over her head. I wasn't spared the humiliation of walking on squeaky wet shoes and "newly laundered jeans" either.

Unfortunately, they had to temporarily close the Anchor's Away ride during the show.
One of Enchanted Kingdom's performances during the afternoon was that of the story of Jesus as told by their guest narrator Miss Assunta de Rossi.

The Wheel of Fate at Dusk.
At last, night time came with the Wheel of Fate lighting up. My niece particularly mentioned how unfair it was that the moment we disembarked the ride, the lights turned on and the wheel turned "pretty".

Here's our last stop, the Serenade at the Courtyard, featuring two wonderful voices.

Game of Thrones Season 2 Teaser

I simply had to share this link for the 22 minute Teaser of Game of Thrones Season 2. I've been waiting for the next season and it took them longer than expected to create the sequel of this amazing HBO series.

Daenerys Targaryen leads the Dothraki with her dragon. Game of Thrones Season 2 will certainly be dominated by women in power.
Watch the Game of Thrones Season 2 Teaser here.
And my personal favorite female, Arya Stark, pretends to be a young boy traveling towards the north with Yoren's party.
The Game of Thrones Season 2, also known as The Clash of Kings, from the book written by George R.R. Martin was something I've been dying to watch ever since Eddard Stark's beheading. It even came to such a point that I had to purchase the entire book set so I could just find out what was to happen next. Unfortunately, since it was written in Old English, that fiery light burning through my eyes dwindled into a very tiny spark.

I honestly don't know where Jon Snow, Commander Mormont and Samwell Tarly are going.
Anyway, they've further made the characters complex whilst preserving the original story line. And as mentioned by Peter Dinklage, they've used less CGIs.

One of the newer characters in the series, Stannis Baratheon is plotting his next move. He will partially responsible of Renly's downfall.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Review

I have to admit, the Walking Dead Season 2 was a bit too slow for my taste... I suppose I have to blame it on reading all 94 comic episodes. Still, I'm glad they took the season 2's finale seriously.

They probably should've killed Shane a little earlier- like on Season 1. He was such a pain and although it might've added to the drama, I just felt that he pestered me more than provoke my anger.

Yes, you better stop your yappin' everyone. Rick's turning hard-ass!
As for those who've been complaining that Rick should be more of a hard-ass, well, wish granted. Looks like on The Walking Dead Season 3, we'll be hearing a whole lot of his "no more democracy" attitude.

Remember the CDC doctor, Dr. Edwin Jenner? He whispered something to Rick which everyone was all wondering. This also indicated the end of The Walking Dead Season 1.

After all this time, he only had to blurt out three little words. We're all infected.
One of the characters I've been dying to see finally gets some airtime in the TWD Season 2 finale. She may have been introduced differently in the comics but I didn't care. What's important is Michon wields the samurai and has two armless zombies behind her back with shackles like dogs.

This is a world where sexy is defined by either being a sharpshooter or a samurai slasher.

It's a good thing they wouldn't need to pick up Herschel and his daughters anymore. At one point in the final episode, I absolutely thought he was going to be bitten. I was screaming in my mind, "Stop, nobody's going to teach them farming if he dies."

Can't wait 'til next fall. In the meantime, Game of Thrones is coming this April.

Dancing Traffic Enforcer in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines

One of the things I enjoy when traveling is having that opportunity to see people doing what their best at.

This traffic enforcer may not have the most interesting or highest paying job, but he certainly contributes more to the public than what he is asked for. For the three minutes we were waiting for our turn to cross the street, he had kept us entertained.

Prefer seeing the real thing, drop by Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines. He's located in the crossing between SM City Cubao and Shopwise Cubao.

Saizen in AliMall Cubao

One of the things Filipinos are great at is finding shops with good finds at cheap prices. Saizen is a Japanese named shop where anything and everything you see is all at 85 Php.

Saizen's Entrance in AliMall, Cubao, Quezon City, Manila
Although there's no assurance that their items are the cheapest there is of a specific product, Saizen saves us the burden of having to look at the price tag or having to ask a sales person how much an item costs.

I was trying to decide whether to choose the pink bunny or the brown bear for my dog. Brown Bear won my heart with it round cuteness.
They also have some dog toys but it's not a selection for someone who wants a large list to choose from.

A display solely for erasers.
I also took a picture of the cute erasers they had- for my niece. She really wanted the hamster looking one... Unfortunately, one pack also costs 85 Php which  makes it pretty obvious that Clipper was the better shop to choose from when it came to cute little trinkets.

Jollibee in Graceland Plaza, Marikina

A new Jollibee's in town and it's in Graceland Plaza located in J.P. Rizal St., Lamuan, Brgy. Malanday, Marikina City, near Southmall.

Jollibee, Graceland Plaze, Lamuan, Malanday, Marikina

It's new and nice. There aren't a lot of customers yet but it certainly serves a good meal.

Not all Jollibee joints can live up to its taste. This one certainly does, not to forget that it also has a drive thru area and a large parking space to accommodate customers.

Simply Busy: Agent. NEC.Worm and MORE!!!

Have you ever felt as if you're running out of time. And that waking up at 7 am in the morning and sleeping at 4 am in the morning just isn't enough for you to finish your tasks.

Well, here's the thing, I'm having such an episode now. I'm currently staying up this late due to waiting for a virus scan to finish. Who would've thought a computer could have so many viruses and worms left unattended.

Some persons simply don't care when their computer gets viruses. Take for example this laptop I'm currently trying to file transfer. One of the worm it had was an Agent. Nec.Worm.

Just my luck, it hides the files and distributes the folder names with a replicated application having the same name e.g. the bookeeping folder will no longer appear, however a bookeeping.exe does. Once the person unknowingly clicks on it, it replicates itself until you're left with a hard drive filled with it.

If the virus scanner deletes or quarantines all those exe files. Worry not! This worm simply hides those folders so that you won't be able to see him.

SOLUTION:

1. Open Command Prompt (Start>Run> Type in CMD
2. In the Command Prompt, type in the directory where the files were currently located. If the infected thumb drive is F: Type cd .. (until you're left with C:\ and type in F:\)
3. Then type this after F:\ -attrib -s -h /s /d *.* (this will remove the hidden attribute of those folders and files, so they all show up.

Not only do I have to deal with this, but there were more viruses in that computer than viruses in my computer for the entire time I've owned a computer... Imagine scanning more than 453 viruses, trojans and worms in the Document Folder alone(97 of which were successfully cleaned)... And that's only the tip of the iceberg. We have ALS\Busted.E.virus, Brontok S.worm, Win32/Agent. BFJDRPI trojan, ScrInject.B.Gen virus, JS/ TrojanClicker,Agent.NCQ trojan and AutoRun.Autoit.BJ.worm.

I couldn't even install an anti-virus because a Error 1500 keeps on popping out. And Housecall and Kaspersky free antivirus scanner didn't do a thing. You might be wondering what I had done to have a partial list of these malware. I removed the hard drive and scanned it into another computer running on my favorite AV program.

I've even tried going to the registries to delete the value contained in the string of  "InProgress" and disabling and switching to manual the Windows Installer through services.msc.

Seriously. Not only is this computer really old, but it was running pretty slow.
