I simply had to share this link for the 22 minute Teaser of Game of Thrones Season 2. I've been waiting for the next season and it took them longer than expected to create the sequel of this amazing HBO series.

Daenerys Targaryen leads the Dothraki with her dragon. Game of Thrones Season 2 will certainly be dominated by women in power.

The Game of Thrones Season 2, also known as The Clash of Kings, from the book written by George R.R. Martin was something I've been dying to watch ever since Eddard Stark's beheading. It even came to such a point that I had to purchase the entire book set so I could just find out what was to happen next. Unfortunately, since it was written in Old English, that fiery light burning through my eyes dwindled into a very tiny spark.

I honestly don't know where Jon Snow, Commander Mormont and Samwell Tarly are going.

Anyway, they've further made the characters complex whilst preserving the original story line. And as mentioned by Peter Dinklage, they've used less CGIs.

One of the newer characters in the series, Stannis Baratheon is plotting his next move. He will partially responsible of Renly's downfall.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Review

I have to admit, the Walking Dead Season 2 was a bit too slow for my taste... I suppose I have to blame it on reading all 94 comic episodes. Still, I'm glad they took the season 2's finale seriously. 

They probably should've killed Shane a little earlier- like on Season 1. He was such a pain and although it might've added to the drama, I just felt that he pestered me more than provoke my anger.

Yes, you better stop your yappin' everyone. Rick's turning hard-ass!

As for those who've been complaining that Rick should be more of a hard-ass, well, wish granted. Looks like on The Walking Dead Season 3, we'll be hearing a whole lot of his "no more democracy" attitude.

Remember the CDC doctor, Dr. Edwin Jenner? He whispered something to Rick which everyone was all wondering. This also indicated the end of The Walking Dead Season 1.

After all this time, he only had to blurt out three little words. We're all infected.

One of the characters I've been dying to see finally gets some airtime in the TWD Season 2 finale. She may have been introduced differently in the comics but I didn't care. What's important is Michon wields the samurai and has two armless zombies behind her back with shackles like dogs.

This is a world where sexy is defined by either being a sharpshooter or a samurai slasher.

It's a good thing they wouldn't need to pick up Herschel and his daughters anymore. At one point in the final episode, I absolutely thought he was going to be bitten. I was screaming in my mind, "Stop, nobody's going to teach them farming if he dies."

Can't wait 'til next fall. In the meantime, Game of Thrones is coming this April.

Dexter Season 5

I'm not sure if I loved this particular season or not. I was done viewing it in less than a day. Maybe I did like it, but it hasn't elicited much reaction other than I can't wait for the next season.

Having Julia Stiles as his new partner was a breath of fresh air from the usual solo flight. I partially hoping she'd stay, but then I do initially dislike her. Fortunately, since she was on a majority of the episodes, she's grown like a moss in favor of Dexter's new love interest.

I was hoping that she'd stay for a while, but maybe that's too much to ask. Dexter seems to like blond haired women. Astor was right, though. It seemed too soon for him to have someone new when even I would've waited a little while before they'd replace Rita.

I suppose if it makes Dexter happy, then the viewers are happy. The entire season revolved around Julia Stiles doing most of the killing. It's too bad their bond had ended there. I found it funny how she found herself a kill outfit just like Dexter's.

Well, at least Harrison is already starting to talk. His first words- no pun intended- was die-die. That portion had been awkwardly hilarious.

Dexter Season 4 Series Review

Sorry for being a little late on the review of this particular season. I stopped watching TV's favorite serial killer for some time because of other priorities. I've been warned prior to viewing this season that a "WTF" moment will occur.

Damn you, Arthur !!! Now, even the baby's damaged.

And indeed, it stood true. Now, I am cursing the entire last episode for making it feel that all was well whilst keeping the climactic end a secret until the last few minutes of the show.

Superb acting. You shouldn't have prolonged the anticipation. We all knew you'd get your killer anyway!

John Lithgow was superb in his role. I've also noticed that Jennifer Carpenter ( Debra Morgan) is getting better at cuing her cusses to her facial expression. I hated her during the first season due to her awkwardness. But now, she's getting better at being a detective (and her acting) and I'm sure a number of anti-Debras have decided to switch sides and see what the following seasons will be for her.

Ah, the pleasure of success...

So, the worst is over  for Season 4. I can't wait to see what it's going to be like with the marriage of Lauren Velez ( Lt. La Guerta) and David Zayas ( Angel Batista). I can also feel that there's a possible threat in the name of Joey Quinn ( Desmond Harrington).

Vampire Diaries Season 3 on Vacation

There's this news circulating the internet that the Vampire Diaries will stop showing until January 5, 2012. That's a pretty long time to wait for the next episode. Although I know some people would highly disagree on this, I'm sure that there are others who are wondering why. I don't know either except that it's going on a long vacation.

I just finished watching the Episode 9 from the 3rd Season and was thinking that maybe it was because it seemed awkward to just proceed to episode 10 when 9 was like a climactic ending- a prelude to a new season.

Well, I can't wait for January 5! I do hope they have an interesting set after the new year. The fans will be dying to see what happens now that Stefan is temporarily out of the picture- giving Damon some me time with Elena.

Almost... but not quite there yet.

Vampire Diaries Season 3: More Internal Conflict

The ending of Season 2 left so many cliffhangers compared to Season 1 that it got me hyped to discover two episodes have already premiered. One of the questions I wish answered is to what becomes of the internal conflicts of Damon and Stefan. I'd also be a hypocrite if I wouldn't admit my rooting for the Elena and Damon tandem. I'm still hoping that romance will occur between the two even when it's still pretty obvious she's still not over Stefan. I haven't read the book because it'll rob me of the pleasure of watching it. Just like the Sookie Stackhouse novels, I won't be doing both things at the same time. It's either I read the book or I watch the series.

What's new with this season? Stefan paves a path for Damon to grow closer to Elena. The fate of Tyler and Caroline's budding relationship becomes apparent yet a little hazy as someone's life may be at stake. Jeremy still sees the visions and has not admitted it yet to Bonnie. Elena turns 18 which means she is now of legal age and has no need of guardianship which Alaric has provided during the death of their Aunt Jenna.

The newest addition to the cast is the 7th Heaven star David Gallagher with so much hair on his face. I still think he would've looked better clean cut, but that's my opinion. I'm glad the next episode is just around the block.

Teen Wolf Season 1 Review

Today is a weekend and I just finished watching a 7 hour marathon of the remaining Teen Wolf episodes I missed. It speaks for itself with a handful of promising reviews from critics which was the reason it felt like an urgency to finish the entire 12 episodes. At first, the story had felt a little draggy but as the teen dilemmas and supernatural suspense piled one after the other, I caught myself mentally debating with my head whether to pause it for a quick water break or not.


The first time I took a glimpse of Tyler Posey, I knew he was someone I've already seen in the big screen. And after watching his charming face in Teen Wolf over and over, it came back to my mind that he was J-Lo's son in Maid in Manhattan. The kid was such an adorable thing back then. It just proves how charismatic he is. Not only has he gotten a kiss from Crystal Reed but also from J-Lo (at such a young age, too).


Teen Wolf definitely exceeded its expectations. It has an appeal sourced from dark humor and teen issues with raging lycanthropic hormones . The cast had been pretty interesting and I can't help but applaud Dylan O'Brien's flawless performance on his support role which required talkative rationality and awkward hilarious moments.

So for those vampire, werewolf and supernatural being diehard fans, this is a series you shouldn't miss. Don't be deceived by the somewhat uneventful first couple of episodes. The build up starts in the middle and will keep the viewers engaged until the last minutes of a climactic end.

49 Days (Pure Love) Review: MUST SEE

You're as cold as ice if you won't cry in at least one of the scenes in this entire drama.

I just finished watching twenty episodes of 49 Days, also known as Pure Love, uploaded by UnknowCarrot in Youtube. I hope this doesn't get taken down because of some stupid DMCA.

There are alot of things I notice in Korean dramas that I love to point out.

• The writers consider the cast to have common sense and a way of figuring out the truth by deduction not just some ill-fated discovery.
• The twists in the stories are well-connected to the plot and not added just to prolong the entire series.
• Most of the antagonists are actually good-hearted in the end by means of revelations and scenes that weren't shown during its first appearance in previous episodes.
• The cast usually have good chemistry and aren't short on the looks department either.

JUST YUMMMMMYYYYY (LEFT TO RIGHT: Lee Yo Won as Song Yi Kyung, Seo Ji Hye as Shin In Jung, Bae Soo Bin as Kang Min Ho, Jung Il Woo as scheduler / Song Yi Soo, Nam Gyu Ri as Shin Ji Hyun, Jo Hyun Jae as Han Kang)

• When they create a story of fantasy, they hardly use CG. They stick to old school camera tricks which I applaud very much.
• Heart jerking scenes are accompanied by heart jerking music. You gotta love it.

Most of the comments regarding this drama involve people crying, having clogged noses, unconcious tears streaming and most of all, not being able to stop watching 'til its last parts. I won't deny I've had my share of wet hankerchiefs and decongestant pills.

Just a tip, if you're watching it, try to avoid reading the comments until you're done because spoilers are inevitable.

Spoiler Alert

Trust a Korean drama to have their main characters not end up with anybody. I remember watching I am Legend. There were endless possibilities in the plot and I was curious who Kim Jeong-eun (Seol-i) would be with just to see in the end that there wasn't a definitive answer. I guess the reason why this is how Korean dramas are written is for the viewers to exercise their imagination and decide on their favored outcome.

Hito wo Narae ( Smash Hit Anime)

I just finished watching Smash Hit. It's about a teenage looking female producer who dreams of one day creating her own detective series. But before she could obtain her dream, she has to help create the Cosprayers, who at first she had been reluctant to produce. At first, her colleagues had mocked her for her size and kawaii looks. But eventually, they grew to respect her as she conquers more obstacles. It's an eight episode series having a satisfying ending. It's not much since there's no romance, and you can compare it more to a feel-good movie with its approximately 2 hours length.

Moral of the story, everyone's dream is entrusted to us and we constantly give them an outlook on how it'll end up. Nothing can be done alone. (as quoted from Kureme a.k.a Mr. Dracula).


During the entire series, a whole lot of underwear shots were taken and it somehow has a sense of light perversion on its theme. But nonetheless, it was good for killing time.
